Through the year many of the world’s religions celebrate. While I’m probably the last one who should discuss world religions, it is my belief that each in their ways focus on thankfulness and caring for one another. It is also my belief that one of the basic tenants of all religions, while it maybe worded in different ways, is the axiom, “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.”
So, isn’t that a great premise for sharing warmth, caring and smiles with one another at any time, especially during a “Holiday Season”.
F. Scott Fitzgerald, said it this way, “It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”
Another kind heart quipped as he left us one morning, stopped, smiled and said, “I leave you today with a smile. Enjoy it. Use it. Nurture it. Share it. Your smiles will light up your life and the lives of others.”
